Village Kids Family Child Care (VKFCC) is a professional childcare facility, providing a nurturing, loving, and stimulating environment for infants to school-age children, in addition to providing a variety of resources for their families. Since opening its doors in 1997, VKFCC has served families from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds seeking childcare of the highest caliber delivered within an environment in which their children will be nurtured and supported.

VKFCC is more than a family childcare facility. We are advocates for children, a support system for parents and a center for the most loving, educated and dedicated family childcare services in Southeastern San Diego.

The Village Kids program provides optimal social and emotional growth as well as development of physical and intellectual skills. Feelings of confidence and success are promoted through a wide range of age-appropriate activities and opportunities based on the interests of the children.   

We provide the children nutritious meals and snacks daily, as well as a variety of activities, including emerging art, music and movement, drama, science, and indoor and outdoor free play.

Parent services include:
